Terms of Service | Movexa

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Movexa ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Matech ( matechcorp.net).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Movexa. By using the Service, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
You must provide accurate information when registering.
You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions.
You may not share, sell or transfer your account to another person.
You must notify us immediately at contact@matechcorp.net if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Upload or share content that is illegal, hateful, obscene, or infringes third-party rights.
Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service.
Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to interact with the Service without our written permission.
Impersonate other users or Movexa staff.
Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

5. Content

Movie and TV show metadata and images are provided by The Movie Database (TMDB). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. All movie and TV show titles, posters and related intellectual property belong to their respective owners.

Content you create on Movexa (reviews, lists, profile information) remains yours. By posting it, you grant Movexa a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it within the Service.

6. Pro subscription

Movexa Pro is a paid subscription that removes ads and unlocks additional features.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Refunds are handled case-by-case. Contact us at contact@matechcorp.net within 14 days of a charge if you believe it was made in error.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

7. Advertising

Free-tier accounts may see advertisements served by Google AdSense. Ads are subject to Google's policies. Upgrading to Movexa Pro removes all advertisements.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time via Settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content (movie/TV data) will always be accurate or up to date.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Matech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict of law principles. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes informally. Where formal proceedings are necessary, you may bring claims in the courts of your country of residence if required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
